Yearly Celebration

We celebrated our yearly business meeting last night. As always, it was awe-inspiring to look back at the many things that have occured this year. Back to school outreaches, Light-the-Night, and Christmas specials all contributed to making 2005 a wonderful year. We saw four first time salvations as just a prelude to what God has in store for us in 2006. It has been such a privilege to join this body of believers as we seek to fulfill God's great commission for Iowa City. Our slogan; Real People on a Real Journey with a Real God is more than just words. We believe that as the people of God's church join together in seeking his face, there is nothing that life can throw at us that we cannot make it through. Thank you Father for the gift of your Church. Bind us together in accomplishing the work you have given us. Glory be to the matchless name of the Risen Savior! Amen.
